Finance Accounting Manager (2-Year Contract) | Singapore
We are seeking a capable and proactive Finance Accounting Manager to join our team on a 2-year contract to support our Singapore operations. This role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing core finance activities, while also contributing to intercompany and transfer pricing processes.
As the main finance point of contact locally, you will work closely with regional teams, shared service centres, and external partners to ensure accurate financial results, smooth audits, and full compliance with local requirements.
What You'll Be Doing
Financial Reporting & Close Process
- Drive the end-to-end financial close cycle (monthly, quarterly, yearly) in coordination with internal and shared services teams
- Review accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial data to ensure integrity and completeness
- Analyse financial fluctuations and provide clear insights on key movements, trends, and risks
- Act as a trusted advisor on accounting matters under IFRS, escalating complex issues when needed
- Maintain high standards of audit readiness at all times
Compliance, Tax & Statutory Matters
- Manage the preparation and submission of statutory reports, corporate tax filings, and GST returns with external advisors
- Serve as the key contact for auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
- Keep abreast of changes in local accounting and tax regulations and evaluate implications
- Support internal control reviews and follow through on audit recommendations
Finance Operations Management
- Oversee daily finance processes across AP, AR, and general ledger functions
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, controls, and best practices
- Identify operational inefficiencies or control gaps and implement improvements
- Provide financial guidance and support to internal stakeholders across the business
Intercompany & Transfer Pricing Support
- Assist in managing intercompany transactions, including reconciliations and settlements
- Collaborate with regional teams on transfer pricing compliance and documentation
- Support reporting requirements and address audit or tax-related queries on intercompany matters
- Contribute to ad hoc regional finance initiatives when required
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CA) is advantageous
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, with 5 to 6 years of experience in a finance manager capacity, covering areas such as financial reporting, audit, tax, and operations
- Solid knowledge of Singapore accounting standards and compliance requirements
- Strong grasp of internal controls and governance frameworks
- Hands-on approach with the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Exposure to Oracle systems is a plus
- Experience within the manufacturing sector would be advantageous
