Our family office is seeking a meticulous Finance & Accounting Assistant to support our operational and financial operations. This role will report to our Operations & Finance Manager and play a key role in maintaining accurate consolidated financial reporting across our diverse holdings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Prepare quarterly consolidated financial statements across multiple entities and investment vehicles
- Maintain general ledger entries and ensure accurate inter-company transactions
- Reconcile bank accounts, investment accounts, and inter-company balances
- Track and record investment transactions (equities, bonds, private equity, etc.)
- Prepare and file GST returns for relevant entities
- Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation
- Maintain organized documentation for all entities and investments
- Support tax preparation by organizing financial data and investment records
Requirements:
- Degree or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance (ACCA/CPA pursuing is a plus)
- 2-5 years of accounting experience with consolidation exposure
- Experience working with multiple entities or group reporting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and consolidation concepts
- Proficiency in accounting software (MYOB/Xero is a plus) and Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
- Prior experience in family office or audit
- Familiarity with investment accounting and portfolio reporting
- Knowledge of Singapore tax and regulatory requirements
