Job Description
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including reporting and reconciliation tasks.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights to aid decision-making.
- Monitor and manage financial transactions, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on financial processes and objectives.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage and process employee payroll accurately and on time while ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with audits as required.
- Provide support for ad hoc financial projects and initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Accountant should have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis within a professional setting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
