Field Service Technician

• Position: Service Technician

• Location: Tuas (Company transport provided: Various MRT pick up points)

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8.30am - 5.30pm)

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $3,000 + AWS + Flexi Benefits (Dental, TCM) + Meal Allowance + Performance Bonus + Transport Reimbursement Allowance + OT Payable

• Duration: Permanent

• Industry: Equipment & parts distributor (MNC)

Main Responsibilities:

• Repair equipment in the field with minimum supervision

• Determine causes of failure of engine mechanical / electrical system and complete repairs

• Attend to local and overseas commissioning

• Respond to emergency service call

• Maintain a complete list of standard mechanical, electrical & special tooling

• Overhaul engines in the workshop

• Open work orders, job sheets & service requisitions

• Submit accurate, complete and legible reports upon completion of jobs

• Process warranty related activities and ensure warranty parts are properly tagged

Requirements:

• ITE or Diploma in mechanical / electrical / mechatronics engineering

• Trained and / or experienced in Marine Engines or Generator Sets

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering

• Prior experience in heavy equipment industry is preferable
