About The Role
Maintain, service, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair and clean Carrier owned HVAC equipment and related products in the workshop and various sites throughout Singapore and across Asia when required. This includes air-cooled and water-cooled systems from 10 RT to 600 RT; various sizes of air conditioners, pumps, air handlers, spot coolers.
Key Responsibilities
As a Field Service Technician, you'll be responsible for:
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in chiller systems, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration principles and electrical schematics to identify issues and implement solutions.
- Perform 24/7 standby duty (rostered) for chiller plant equipment complaint and breakdown.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients or facility managers on the operation and maintenance of chiller systems, including troubleshooting advice and recommendations for system improvements.
- Research and implement new chiller technologies or modifications to existing systems to improve efficiency, reduce costs, or comply with new environmental regulations, staying ahead of industry trends and innovations.

As a Minimum You Must Have
- Nitec, Diploma or Equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 5 years hands-on experience in HVAC or M&E industry
- Experienced in HVAC system & components such as chillers
- Proficiency in servicing, troubleshooting, repair and cleaning HVAC equipment and related products.
- Refrigerant Handling license an advantage if not to have the ability to obtain TP Certificate within 60 days of hire provided by the company.
- SIC for Construction, Shipyard, Process Plant an advantage.
- Training or experience in EHS & Risk Assessment an advantage.
- Possess a valid class 3 driver's license.
