Main function: Service & Installation
- Responsible for providing technical service such as troubleshooting, installation, commission, maintenance and repairing of Company's power system products in order to ensure continuous function at the customer site and in compliance with quality and safety requirements.
The Role:
- Commissioning of both Industrial AC and DC power systems, battery maintenance, discharging and health checks.
- Timely completion and reporting of commissioning documents.
- Routine maintenance of UPS and battery systems.
- Liaise with other departments and engineers to ensure site visits are carried out in a professional and safe manner.
- Training of customers to use equipment and understand basic user functions.
- Cover calls-out roster to support customers with 24/7 and to work unsociable hours (Night work and weekends as required).
- Promote the Company's Power System maintenance contracts and Service wherever possible.
What Do You Need to Have
- ITE or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering or any related disciplines.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience within the power systems industry OR 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience installing and commissioning electrical engineering/power engineering equipment/devices, etc.
- Good knowledge of industrial power systems products, applications and/or solutions.
- Diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Good base knowledge of PC (J Bus / Profibus / Modbus and other communication media) and programming skills.
- Fluent in spoken and written English language.
- Candidates MUST be able to work in shift work and take on 24/7 on-call standby duties.
