Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on rotating equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, and diesel engines to ensure operational reliability
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and conduct root cause investigations to improve equipment performance
- Lead and supervise the Maintenance Team during night shifts and weekends to execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks effectively
- Train and mentor Maintenance Team members to enhance their technical skills and ability to perform complex maintenance activities
- Coordinate spare parts management with the Maintenance Team to support timely preventive maintenance
- Manage and liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure quality and timely completion of maintenance services
- Enforce compliance with safety standards across all maintenance activities to maintain a safe working environment
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Marine or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical field
- Minimum 3 years of plant maintenance experience, preferably in oil & gas or marine terminal industry
- Practical skills in servicing, maintenance, and overhaul of pumps, rotating machinery, and static equipment
- Effective communication and team-building skills to lead and develop maintenance personnel
- Willingness to perform outdoor fieldwork
