Job Summary
You will perform specialized maintenance, integration, and calibration of marine, electrical, mechanical, and chemical equipment across diverse environments including outdoor fields, vessels, and confined spaces, driving operational reliability and supporting critical field operations.
Responsibilities
- Execute hands-on maintenance and repair of marine, electrical, mechanical, and chemical equipment and instruments in outdoor fields, canals, underground, confined spaces, underwater, and marine coastal environments
- Operate onboard vessels, work boats, canals, underground sites, rivers, and field locations to ensure equipment functionality and safety
- Integrate instruments and computer devices by programming, setting up, configuring, testing, and commissioning remote access and control applications to optimize system performance
- Calibrate instruments and apply chemical reagent knowledge to maintain measurement accuracy and compliance
- Develop and manage maintenance schedules and produce detailed service, analysis, and maintenance reports to support operational decision-making
- Respond to ad-hoc assignments promptly to address urgent technical needs and maintain system uptime
- Participate in standby duties and work beyond regular hours, including weekends and public holidays, to ensure continuous operational support
Required competencies and certifications
- Relevant educational qualifications in Marine, Electrical, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering (Degree/Diploma)

- Demonstrate a positive attitude with initiative and ability to work independently
- Exhibit confidence and adaptability in marine environments
- Collaborate effectively as a team player
- Apply critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Willingness to perform fieldwork in diverse and challenging environments including outdoor sites, vessels, underground, canals, and coastal areas
- Self-driven and motivated to learn and grow within the role
- No prior experience required openness to candidates eager to develop skills in this field.
