Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor / Laser Equipment)

• Position: Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor / Laser Equipment)

• Location: Kallang / Island wide

• Working hours: 5 days work week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $5200 + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Annual Leave + Group Insurance Coverage + Dental Reimbursement + Phone Bill/ Transportation Reimbursement

• Duration: Permanent

Main Responsibilities:

• Install, service, troubleshoot and repair laser equipment and related machines.

• Carry out regular preventive maintenance and follow up on work orders.

• Provide onsite technical support for equipment installation and machine servicing.

• Diagnose equipment issues and perform corrective actions to minimise downtime.

• Work closely with customers to resolve technical and service-related matters.

• Support machine testing, commissioning and after-sales service activities.

• Prepare service updates, maintenance records and technical reports where required.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of service jobs.

• Maintain good customer relationships through professional technical support.

• Perform other service engineering duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.

• 2-3 years of experience in field service, equipment maintenance or technical support.

• Experience with laser application equipment or semiconductor-related equipment will be advantageous.

• Knowledge of electrical, electronics or mechatronics systems.

• Able to install, troubleshoot, repair and service equipment independently.
