Field Service Engineer (Junior to Mid Level)

• Location: Kaki Bukit, Singapore
• Employment Type: 2-Year Contract (Renewable / Conversion Opportunity)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

About the Opportunity

Join a specialised engineering team supporting advanced semiconductor and PCB production systems. This role involves hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of high-tech equipment across Singapore and regional sites.

This position suits engineers who already have some technical experience and are ready to take on more independent field responsibilities, including overseas assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain advanced production equipment locally and overseas
• Perform troubleshooting and repair to minimise production downtime
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities independently or with minimal supervision
• Manage spare parts usage and coordinate inventory for service operations
• Work closely with customers and internal engineering teams to resolve technical issues
• Maintain accurate service reports and documentation
• Ensure strict adherence to safety and cleanroom standards
• Participate in overseas assignments, including structured training in Japan (twice yearly)

Requirements

• Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Microelectronics Engineering, or related fields
• 2 to 4 years of relevant hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, servicing, or technical support
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Comfortable working in cleanroom and production environments
• Willingness to travel frequently, including overseas assignments
• Independent, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced technical environment

Compensation and Benefits

• Basic Salary: SGD 2,800 - 3,500 (based on experience and last drawn)
