Job Summary

As a Field Service Engineer, you will install, maintain, and repair Ion Implanter systems in cleanroom environments at customer sites, ensuring optimal equipment performance and providing technical support.

Responsibilities

• Install Ion Implanter systems in cleanroom environments at customer sites to meet operational standards
• Perform system maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and ensure reliability
• Provide technical support to customers by diagnosing and resolving system faults on-site
• Report fieldwork progress and system issues clearly and promptly to the Lead Engineer for effective issue resolution
• Participate actively in meetings and conference calls to coordinate service activities and share updates
• Travel regionally to customer sites to deliver timely installation and maintenance services

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Knowledge of electronics measurements and equipment to support effective troubleshooting and maintenance
• Familiarity with PLC systems to enhance system diagnostics and repair capabilities
• Educational background: Nitec, Diploma, or Bachelor in Engineering with 1-3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment within cleanroom fabs
