Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site technical support, including equipment installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
- Respond to and resolve customer technical issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimise downtime.
- Support equipment acceptance and commissioning activities at customer sites.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand customer requirements and deliver suitable technical solutions.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in planning and executing field service projects, ensuring timely completion and compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with regional and overseas technical teams to deliver high-quality technical support and services.
- Prepare and submit accurate service reports, maintenance records, and related documentation.
- Provide operational guidance and basic technical training to customers when required.
- Work in cleanroom, manufacturing, and industrial environments while adhering to all safety regulations and company procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience as an Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or in a similar technical role.
- Ability to work independently and proactively seek support when required.
- Customer-focused with strong service orientation, flexibility, and patience.
- Experience in troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial or large-scale machinery.
- Possession of an N3 Laser Licence/Certification is an added advantage.
- Experience in the semiconductor, printed circuit board (PCB), or packaging substrate industry is an added advantage.
