Field Service Engineer (Gas Detector / E&I)

Responsibilities

. Supportstart-up, contract maintenance and other service activities with emphasis onsafety and protection.

. Performroutine preventive maintenance, logging, corrective maintenance works and tocarry out warranty repairs.

. Participatein service and repair of gas detectors, safety activities, emergency response,breakdown calls and ad hoc projects.

. Manageall orders efficiently until fulfilment stage, by working closely with Serviceteam.

. Liaisonwith relevant parties such as customers, service supervisor, coordinators andlogistic pertaining to queries, technical issues, status and deliveries.

. Ensureequipment turnaround and breakdown responses are achieved at optimal level ofefficiency.

. Toprovide support to other service activities that may be assigned in the courseof work

. Effectivecommunication of technical information to employees, customers and externalparties in an accurate and concise manner in both a written and verbal media.

. Toparticipate/take up Workplace Safety & Health responsibilities/ activitiesas per requested by the company.

Requirements

. NTC 2 orDiploma in Electrical/Electronic/Electro-Mechanical Engineering.

. At least 3-5years experience in service/engineering position in similar industry. Processinstrumentation experience is an added advantage.

. Able to workfrom height and in confined space when required.

. Class 3Driving license is required.
