Job Scope
- Conduct on-site installation, commissioning, servicing, training, and maintenance.
- The FSE able to Identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failure, install new components and parts.
- Provides service and technical interface between customer and GA.
- Assists engineering with FAT, and installation prep work.
- Advise customer on operation, maintenance, and modifications.
- Provide expert advice to customers regarding equipment operation, maintenance, and possible system modifications.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- The FSE communicates with management, and the end user to help and implement appropriate resolutions in a timely manner.
- Provide regular updates to the Service Manager to ensure timely handling of all open jobs.
- Collaborate closely with the Customer Service Team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Respond to phone support request as assigned.
- Analyze problems and determine appropriate solutions either individually or collaboratively as part of a team.
- Promote and sell value-added services, including spare parts, system upgrades, and service contracts, during customer visits or when opportunities arise.
Support engineering with ongoing product development and improvement projects. - Take initiative to remain current with emerging technologies and equipment updates.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirement
- Diploma in Electronics / Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experiences as Field Service Engineer
- Possess technical skills in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic systems.
