Job Description

Duties:

  • Independently perform start-up, contract maintenance, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, service logging, and warranty repairs for breathing apparatus and related equipment.
  • Conduct inspection, testing, servicing, repair, and functional verification of breathing apparatus and associated safety equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment faults, identify root causes, and implement appropriate corrective actions with minimal supervision.
  • Respond independently to breakdown calls and emergency service requests, ensuring timely resolution and optimal equipment turnaround.
  • Manage assigned service orders from initiation to completion, coordinating with Service, Logistics, and relevant departments to ensure timely fulfilment.
  • Liaise directly with customers and relevant stakeholders on technical issues, service requirements, equipment status, and delivery schedules.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior service personnel or technicians when required.
  • Participate in service projects, equipment improvement initiatives, emergency response activities, and other technical assignments as required.
  • Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Fulfil Workplace Safety & Health responsibilities and participate in relevant safety activities as required by the company.

Requirements:

  • Min Dip/Deg in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
  • Prior experience and knowledge in breathing apparatus or relevant apparatus is highly advantageous
