Field Service Engineer, Automotive

The purpose of the role is to install, maintain, inspect and repair automotive testing equipment at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction. The Field Service Engineer plays a key role in ensuring that all systems meet our applicable standards and contribute to safe and compliant vehicle testing operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation & Commissioning

. Install and commission new automotive testing equipment at customer sites.

. Ensure correct setup, calibration and functionality in line with company standards.

. Support customers during the initial use and handover of systems.

2. Maintenance & Inspection

. Carry out preventive maintenance and statutory inspections on installed equipment.

. Work in accordance with Singapore Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.

. Complete and maintain accurate service and compliance documentation.

3. Troubleshooting & Repairs

. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and software-related faults.

. Perform on-site repairs to restore equipment functionality with minimal downtime.

. Escalate complex technical issues and support root cause analysis where required.

4. Customer Support & Service

. Act as the face of Company at customer locations.

. Provide technical advice and support to customers on the safe and effective use of equipment.

. Deliver a high standard of customer service and build strong working relationships.
