Semiconductor Field Service Engineer
Job Description & Requirements
We are seeking responsible, motivated, and hands-on field service engineer to support semiconductor manufacturing customer. Successful candidates will be involved in equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and equipment upgrade activities within a cleanroom environment.
Job Responsibilities
Perform basic troubleshooting and debugging of semiconductor equipment and tool-related issues.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities according to established procedures.
Support equipment installation, modification, upgrade, and improvement projects.
Monitor equipment performance and assist in identifying root causes of equipment issues.
Escalate complex technical issues to engineers when required.
Ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely and in compliance with customer and cleanroom requirements.
Complete maintenance records, reports, and documentation accurately.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and productivity.
Requirements
NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or relevant technical qualifications in Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related fields.
Able to work in a cleanroom environment and follow strict safety procedures.
Good attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or wafer fabrication environments.
Experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or engineering support.
Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum, or automation systems.
Cleanroom experience and experience in wet benches and cleantech tools will be an added advantage.
