As a Field Sales Representative (FSR) for Public Sector, you will be working with our Public Sector Research Institutes accounts in Singapore. You will leverage experience engaging with executives to build on existing relationships, establish relationships in new areas, and act as a business partner to understand our customer's challenges and goals. You will advocate the innovative power of our products and solutions to make public organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile.

Qualifications

Job responsibilities

  • Build executive relationships with public sector customers in the Research Industry to influence their technology and business decisions. Add value as a trusted advisor.
  • Become an expert on your public sector research industry customers business, including leveraging our AI product portfolio e.g. Vertex AI to improve their research productivity and capabilities.
  • Lead account strategy to develop business growth opportunities, working cross-functionally with multiple teams and Google Partners, to improve business impact within Public Sector customers.
  • Manage the business cycles, presenting to C-level executives and negotiating terms.
  • Drive business development, own operational excellence, forecast, and achieve goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in technology related sales or business development, working directly with technology sales and public sector.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience selling software solutions to research institutes clients.
  • Experience selling Cloud Solutions, and AI solutions, aligning solutions to drive business outcomes.
  • Experience growing an existing customer base and acquiring new logos to increase spend and accelerate consumption business growth.
  • Experience in commercial and legal negotiations, and working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
  • Experience working with Customer Engineers and Customers Technical leads to inventory software estate, define migration plans, and build migration business cases.
  • Experience cultivating C-level relationships and influencing executives.
