The Field Sales Team Leader is responsible for leading, coaching, and driving the performance of the Field Sales Executives to achieve revenue and acquisition targets. This role combines hands-on sales execution with team management and market development responsibilities.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Field Sales Executives
- Set clear daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and monitor performance
- Conduct regular field coaching, joint sales visits, and performance reviews
- Provide ongoing training on sales techniques, product knowledge, and objection handling
- Manage attendance, discipline, and overall team morale
Sales & Business Development
- Drive merchant acquisition across F&B, retail, and service segments
- Support the team in pitching, product demonstrations, and closing key accounts
- Ensure smooth onboarding and proper implementation of the payment solution
- Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships
Operations & Reporting
- Track sales pipeline, conversion rates, and performance metrics
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management
- Gather market intelligence and competitor insights
- Ensure compliance with company policies and sales processes
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Proven track record in field sales, preferably in payments, fintech, or merchant acquisition
- Prior experience leading or mentoring a sales team
- Strong communication, negotiation, and coaching skills
- Target-driven, resilient, and results-oriented
- Comfortable with field-based sales environment
