Field Sales Executive - Food & Industrial Distributors

ABOUT US
eAI Lab is the software arm of TreeDots, a food redistributor operating in Singapore and Indonesia. We build Odello, an AI order desk that reads customer orders arriving by WhatsApp, email and PO PDF, and turns them into confirmed sales orders in the customer's existing system. Our customers are wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a field role, not a desk role. You will spend most of your week visiting businesses in person at wholesale centres and industrial estates across Singapore, introducing our product to the owner or the person who runs operations, and following up until they make a decision.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Visit businesses in person, on foot, at wholesale centres and industrial estates such as Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre, Senoko, Woodlands and Tuas.
Introduce Odello to the business owner or the person who runs their operations.
Arrange product demonstrations and attend them together with our founders.
Follow up by WhatsApp, phone and email until the customer reaches a decision.
Record every visit and outcome in our CRM.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You are comfortable walking into a business unannounced and asking to speak to the boss.
Many of our customers are business owners at wholesale centres and industrial estates who prefer to conduct business in Mandarin or dialect, so you must be able to hold a full business conversation in Mandarin.
Previous experience selling to distributors, wholesalers, food businesses or manufacturers matters far more to us than software experience. We will teach you the product.
You are able to be on your feet and outdoors for most of the working day.
You are comfortable with rejection and keep going.

WHAT WE OFFER
Basic salary of S$2,500 to S$3,200 per month depending on experience.
Uncapped commission on every customer you close, calculated on the value of their first year with us. The more you close, the more you earn, with no ceiling.
You will work directly with the founders rather than through layers of management, and you will be in the room for the demonstrations you arrange.
Full training on the product. You do not need a technology background.
Part-time arrangements can be discussed for the right person, on an hourly basic plus the same commission.
