Job Summary

Perform all aspects of installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment as assigned to ensure that work executed is in compliance with required quality standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment according to project schedules to meet quality standards and customer satisfaction
  • Submit complete documentation to Project/Site Engineer or office administration to support project tracking and sales targets
  • Operate hand and power tools to perform tasks such as lifting, bolting, wiring, aligning, and fitting for installation and fabrication work
  • Execute steel fabrication work following manufacturing drawings and in-house quality standards to meet scheduled deadlines
  • Record and submit accurate man-hour data for productivity tracking and project performance monitoring
  • Identify and report shortages of materials, additional customer requirements, or performance gaps to ensure timely project completion
  • Complete and submit quality control (QC) sheets for all projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards
  • Verify that work by production departments and subcontractors meets company quality standards
  • Travel to job sites to assist with unloading, setting up equipment, and materials handling
  • Attend inspections and assist in testing and commissioning installed equipment to ensure operational readiness
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any abnormalities promptly
  • Adhere to company, customer, and statutory Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures including safe driving, working at height, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and 5S practices
  • Maintain good 5S housekeeping and comply with all relevant EHS laws, company, and customer requirements
  • Participate actively in EHS programs to promote a safe and compliant working environment
  • Provide regular feedback to supervisors on site issues and project progress
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma or NITEC in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related technical field

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in installation and commissioning of industrial or mechanical system.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player
  • Experience working in a diverse cultural environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, confident, and proactive personality
