Field Engineer (Transmission & FBB Operations)

About the role:

This role focuses on assisting your team members in deploying, implementing, and maintaining transmission network equipment.

The key duties and responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):

. Deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain transmissionnetwork equipment and fibre broadband systems

. Install and configure network devices and relatedservices

. Perform routine and corrective maintenance toensure optimal network performance

. Diagnose and resolve network faults in a timelymanner

. Support project implementation and dailyoperational activities

. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internalteams

. Provide both onsite and remote technical support

. Assist stakeholders with ad hoc technical requests

. Participate in scheduled night work and 24/7standby rotation when required

The candidate should possess the below qualities to fulfil the needs of the role:

. Basicunderstanding of telecommunication systems

. Familiarity withconsumer and enterprise networking equipment is an advantage

. Fibre opticsexperience is highly preferred

. Strongproblem-solving skills with a hands-on approach

. Goodcommunication and interpersonal skills

. Responsible,responsive, and able to work independently as well as in a team

. Willingness to learn and grow within the organization

. Class 3 driving license is preferred
