Field Data Analyst

Overview:

As part of the Worldwide Sales Operations at PTC, Commercial Operations Reporting & Analytics is a high-profile team with primary objective to accelerate business growth by driving insights on customers, prospects and performance into action. The team achieves its goals through innovative analytics research, providing customer and market insights to PTC Executives and Field Leadership, and building and deploying net-new capabilities and KPI's.

The team works closely with strategy, central data operations, sales, marketing, customer success and other field functions with the high-level vision of uniting Field operations teams across the customer lifecycle while aligning GTM strategy & goals, driving modernization, optimizing operating models and leveraging data, metrics & analytics.

The analytics team leverages a variety of analytics tools, innovative techniques and strategic insights to deliver on its goals. A key function of the team focuses on developing unified analytics platforms with advanced reporting capabilities that drive alignment and surface important insights.

Responsibilities:

This role is expected to be an integral part of the team with responsibilities that include:

. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including strategy, sales operations, marketing and customer success operations on end-to-end projects and implementation

. Data modelling, visualization and reporting automation

. Using Qlik Sense and Power BI to present data insights, metrics and KPIs to various business audiences

. Working with business users of all levels to identify requirements, develop new analyses and reports Facilitate discussions, perform demonstrations and/or provide training

. With a primary focus on developing, maintaining and building Qlik Sense applications and reporting metrics through data modelling and validation, business systems integration and front-end visualization of insights and data

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

The successful candidate will have a passion for analytics and storytelling using data in a fast-paced environment to drive process improvements, solve problems and produce results. They will be detail-oriented, curious and have the willingness to participate in analytics projects that may take several weeks or months to complete. This role requires a combination of technical skills and general business acumen to be successful

Technical skills:

. Advanced Qlik Sense Development skills: Qlik script coding language, complex data modelling, business systems integration, data validation, technical documentation, front-end visualization and reporting, dashboard development using Qlik extensions and widgets, and customized coding

. Experience with 2 or more of: Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI, R, Python, SQL, Oracle BI, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OACS)

. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and advanced functions, SharePoint skills are a plus
