The Field Automation Engineer is responsible for supporting the deployment, commissioning, and ongoing post‑implementation support of Cytiva automation solutions. This hands-on technical role involves working withEmerson Delta V DCS, and some extended support on Siemens PLC/SCADA, and AVEVA Wonderware Application Server, coveringsystem implementation, troubleshooting, controlled changes, and lifecycle managementin compliance with regulated industry standards.

This position reports to the Zone Service Manager, ASEAN and is part of the Equipment Services Team located in Singapore and will be fully remote covering 80% ASEAN and 20% APAC as and when needed.

What you will do:

  • Deliverinstallation and commissioningservicesfor automation hardware and software solutions at customer sites
  • ProvideLevel 2automation service supportfor hardware install base and associated plant automation systems in active GMP manufacturing environments
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issuesrelated to control logic, batch processing, alarms, communication interfaces, and system performance. Configure & customize Delta Vincluding phases, recipes, Control Modules (CMs), Equipment Modules (EMs), and operator display

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT / Automation or Electronics and Comm Engg with minimum 5years of Practical, hands-on experience withEmerson Delta VDCSplatforms
  • Demonstrated experience supportingGMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biopharmamanufacturing systems
  • Familiar with industrial system integration technologies such asOPC UA, Ethernet/IP, and ProfNet

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel -50% travel, overnight, within territory or locations

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Own incident handling, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions(CAPA)
  • Work closely with back office & customerto ensure systems remain compliant, reliable, and audit-ready
  • Besingle point of contactforautomation queriesto customers and internal stakeholders
