Field Application Specialist - EU & APAC | Remote in any major European City or Singapore
We've partnered with an innovative biotech company transforming the future of gene editing safety through advanced genomics technologies that support the development of safer and more precise cell and gene therapies!
We're looking for a customer-focused Field Application Specialist to support the adoption of a cutting-edge genome editing platform across EMEA & APAC, working closely with researchers, biotech partners, and commercial teams to deliver high-impact scientific support and technical expertise.
What will I do in the role I hear you ask:
- Supporting customers with onboarding, training, and implementation of advanced gene editing workflows
- Delivering pre-sales scientific presentations and consultative technical support
- Guiding customers through experimental design, sequencing workflows, and bioinformatics interpretation
- Supporting analysis of on-target and off-target genome editing data
- Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, product, R&D, and marketing teams
- Representing the company at conferences, workshops, webinars, and scientific meetings
- Providing customer feedback and technical insights to support product development
- 30–50% international travel across EMEA & APAC
So here's what you'll bring to the table:
- 2+ years experience in a field applications, technical support, or customer-facing scientific role
- BSc in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Bioengineering, Computational Biology, or related field (MSc/PhD highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of CRISPR, base editing, or gene editing technologies
- Experience supporting NGS workflows and genomics platforms
- Comfortable interpreting bioinformatics outputs and troubleshooting sequencing workflows
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working across international teams and multiple time zones
