Field Application Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide quality technical support to the sales team, partners and end-users, handling general to complex field engineering assignments.
• Resolve pre and post sales technical issues, implement interim solutions, and escalate outstanding issues to Technical Service Manager for resolution.
• Maintain high quality standards and performance of company equipment and products in all venues.
• Assist with the installation, calibration, trouble shooting, commissioning and repair of equipment.
• Train partners and customer liaisons in the proper use of the company's products, systems, tools and test equipment required for optimal performance.
• Prepare and assist in the preparation of technical documentation, reports and training material.
• Support region exhibition activities and product demonstrations.
• Handle any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Technical Service Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 to 5 years of hands on experience in installing and repairing audio visual equipment or providing technical support to customers.
• Possess good project management skills, understanding of customer requirements, and customer workflow in different industries.
• Possess good experience in projector technology to include necessary tools, software, optics, and projector setup in the field.
• Certified Technology Specialists (Audio Visual & Network) and knowledge of JD Edwards/Oracle system will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to travel within short notice within South East Asia.
