About the Role
We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Fashion Designer to join our apparel team. This role focuses on designing performance wear, activewear, and knit-based garments, working closely with product development and production teams to bring concepts to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Design activewear and performance apparel from concept to final sample
- Develop sketches, tech packs, and detailed garment specifications
- Research trends, fabrics, trims, and industry innovations
- Work with internal teams on fitting, pattern adjustments, and technical refinements
- Ensure designs meet production feasibility, costing requirements, and quality standards
- Collaborate with suppliers and factories on fabric selection and prototype development
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or related field
- On job training will be provided
- Experience in sportswear/activewear/knitwear design is an advantage
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and technical details
- Proficient in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Strong creative sense, attention to detail, and ability to work within timelines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
