FARM OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Responsibilities:

. Oversee daily operations, ensuring optimal performance of operational equipment, and drive improvements using Lean initiatives

. Ensure the creation and implementation of strategies designed to grow the business and align operational activities with long-term goals

. Oversee key hiring, talent development, and succession planning programs to ensure long-term operational excellence

. Coordinate the development of key performance goals (KPIs) for functions and staff, such as cost per unit, cycle time, and delivery accuracy

. Provide direct management of key functional managers and executives in the company to ensure smooth operational flow

. Lead process engineering efforts to streamline existing processes, improving service delivery, inventory management, production & logistics efficiency, and reducing operating costs

. Champion the KAIZEN philosophy and establish the adoption of Lean methodology through training, coaching/mentoring, and leading continuous improvement projects

. Collaborate with the Plant Science team to ensure seamless integration of farm produce into Production Operations

. Evaluate and implement key investments in equipment, infrastructure, and technological advancements to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs

. Ensure product quality, operational efficiency, and adherence to company standards across all processes

. Prepare budgets and control operational overheads to ensure profitability and financial sustainability

. Prepare weekly reports on the operational performance and status of the company, ensuring data-driven decision-making

. Work closely with management team to ensure all operational, administrative, and compliance functions within the company are being aligned with business goals and properly executed in accordance to regulatory-based best practices

. Stay up to date on industry regulations and trends

. Any ad hoc duties as required
