Job Description

Company Description

Glyph Community is a Singapore-registered IPC charity dedicated to supporting children from lower-income or vulnerable households, aged 5 to 12, through holistic weekend enrichment programs. Beyond fostering social, emotional, and intellectual growth through structured activities like arts, STEM, life skills, and wellness initiatives, Glyph Community now also focuses on uplifting the living standards of the families we serve.

Role Overview

This role supports the full journey of a beneficiary-from first contact to enrolment, engagement, and renewal. The Programme Coordinator ensures families have a smooth, caring experience while helping Glyph grow its reach through direct outreach and ecosystem partnerships. The main KPI is the number of active beneficiaries.

Roles & Responsibilities

Daily Tasks

  • Respond to new and existing families via WhatsApp Business
  • Follow up with prospective beneficiaries through WhatsApp, phone calls, and occasional home visits
  • Maintain accurate daily attendance and activity records (Excel)
  • Update CRM entries (HubSpot) to reflect family status and engagement notes

Weekly Tasks

  • Teach and manage weekend enrichment classes for children
  • Conduct volunteer briefings and assign session roles
  • Oversee student attendance and collect feedback from families and volunteers
  • Manage centre operations: open, clean, and close the centre smoothly
  • Update weekly lesson slides (PowerPoint)
  • Track volunteer registration and attendance (Giving.sg, Excel)
  • Coordinate with social workers, government agencies, schools, and non-profits for beneficiary referrals and outreach partnerships

Monthly Tasks

  • Review and update curriculum slides for relevance and clarity
  • Design and send out the monthly family schedule and centre announcements (Canva, WhatsApp)
  • Ensure all administrative records-attendance, feedback, engagement-are up to date and organised
  • Track beneficiary engagement and handle semester renewals to maintain or grow enrolment

This role is ideal for someone who is people-first, clear-thinking, and unafraid to own both the details and the bigger picture. Your success is measured by one thing above all: more children reached more lives changed.

Application Process

As part of our selection process, all applicants are required to participate in a volunteering session to assess their suitability for engaging with our beneficiaries.

Work Schedule

  • Wednesday - Friday: Work-from-home
  • Saturday - Sunday: Centre operations (Boon Lay / Marsiling)
  • Work Hours: 9:30am - 6:30pm
