Job Description

Job Description:

  • The team is responsible for Fixed Income Sales and Derivatives Sales coverage across institutional investors such as Insurance Companies, Asset Managers, Banks, Private Banks, Hedge Funds etc.
  • Product coverage
    • Flow sales: responsible for distribution of new bond transactions, secondary flows, repos, cross currency swaps/hedges etc
    • Derivatives Solutions: design, price, market and execution of investment and hedging solutions through the use of derivatives (e.g. Interest rate and FX swaps and structured notes)
    • GT Syndicate: responsible for generation of new bond issue ideas, pricing and execution
  • Team works closely with various teams internally, from GT Syndicate, Credit Trading, ALM, Ops etc

The role will be an integral part of our team, and joining us on the journey and:

  • Assist in building trade specific pricing/backtesting models
  • Assist in Pnl reconciliation with TFC and monthly MIS
  • Streamline processes via excel macro, VBA to enhance efficiency and automation
  • Assist in building back testing model for different initiatives such as OCBC bond basket and Equity Indices
  • Assist in regular client events preparation

Qualifications

  • Must be able to commit
  • Excel proficiency is a must, macro creation in VBA would be an advantage
  • Highly motivated individual who can work well in a team
  • Results-oriented and able to deal with pressure
  • Willingness to learn with positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
