The Failure Analysis team plays a critical role in analyzing manufacturing data to identify trends, uncover root causes of low yield and failure mechanisms, and drive continuous improvements in yield and defect reduction.
About The Role - You Will
- Responsible daily product yield and defect trends; investigate root causes of yield variations
- Perform physical failure analysis to identify sources of defects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance) to resolve yield/defect issues
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product yield and quality
- Support process engineering evaluations
- Evaluate effectiveness of yield improvement actions
- Analyze media test data to identify yield issues
- Conduct statistical analysis and present findings using data visualization tools
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
Your Experience Includes
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., JMP, Tableau); training will be provided
- Understanding of statistical analysis outputs and terminology
- Basic knowledge of Python or MySQL is a plus

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations.
