Faculty Member - Tenure-track Position in Psychological Sciences
The Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS) Cluster at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) invites applications for an open-rank, tenure-track faculty position. We seek applicants with a scholarly background in any area of the psychological sciences.
We encourage applications from candidates who can contribute productively to the Design and Artificial Intelligence (DAI) programme, in particular to our Human-centred Intelligence (HI) Track. The HI track offers instruction across fields like psychology, philosophy, and human-AI interaction, and is embedded within the broader DAI theme of leveraging human-centred design and AI methods for real-world impact. We thus seek scholars with expertise that can bridge the understanding of machine and human intelligence, and who are actively engaged in rigorous quantitative research involving both. Examples include the psychological study of human-AI interaction or the use of AI for the study of human cognition and behaviour.
Candidates should have a proven record of effective teaching at the university level. An ability to teach advanced methods in statistical or computational modelling will be viewed favourably.
