We are seeking a motivated Broker to manage facultative reinsurance accounts and support business growth in Southeast Asia. This role offers exposure to international markets, client leadership, and clear progression opportunities - including mentoring juniorstaff and succession into senior responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention
- Acquire new clients through market development and networking
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Conduct client research and analysis to design optimal reinsurance solutions
- Manage day‑to‑day account tasks, ensuring compliance and timely delivery
- Monitor market trends and provide insights to support business strategy
- Prepare reports and account reviews for senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field
- 5-7 years experience in reinsurance broking or underwriting
- Solid understanding of international reinsurance markets, especially Southeast Asia
- Proven ability to manage facultative accounts effectively
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Leadership potential with interest in mentoring and succession responsibilities
