Factory Supervisor

Job Summary

The Production Supervisor is responsible for directly supervising shop-floor workers and machines to ensure daily production activities are carried out according to the production plan. The role focuses on manpower control, machine operation, discipline, and immediate problem-solving on the factory floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise operators and helpers to ensure assigned tasks are completed correctly

• Ensure machines are operated as per standard procedures and production instructions

• Maintain discipline, attendance, and proper use of safety equipment

• Record daily production output, defects, and downtime

• Immediately report breakdowns, quality issues, or manpower shortages to the Production Manager

Required Qualifications

• 3-year Diploma in Textile Technology or relevant textile field

• Experience working as a supervisor or senior operator in a textile factory

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong shop-floor supervision and people-handling skills

• Practical knowledge of textile machines and processes

• Ability to handle workers and resolve day-to-day production issues

• Basic reporting and record-keeping skills

• Awareness of safety and quality requirements
