Factory Safety, Health and Environment Specialist

Main purpose of the job
Lead the site in its journey towards excellence in Safety, Health and Environmental performance by continual improvement to the SHE management system with strong support of Management and engaged Colleagues.

Key output
Direct and co-ordinate the development and implementation of the site SHE strategy & programs. Align factory SHE objectives considering Market and Corporate objectives, integrating SHE into business decisions.
Ensure compliance with SHE-related legal and corporate requirements.

Implement, control, maintain and improve the site SHE Management systems including achieving and maintaining ISO14001 and ISO 45001 certification. Support this through developing and implementing specific tools and initiatives as part of the Factory's SHE program

Provide coaching & support to the Plant Manager, Plant Management team and Line Managers in order to achieve the Factory's SHE objectives and to ensure SHE becomes / remains a line management responsibility. Ensure that SHE performance data is available and correctly managed. Promote the awareness of SHE.

Support the site's Continuous Improvement Projects through SHE Reviews, Operational Readiness Reviews, Risk Assessment Reviews, Change Management Reviews, etc.
