- Our client is an established company supporting construction-related fabrication and factory production operations in Singapore. They are currently looking for a hands-on Factory Production Supervisor to assist in overseeing daily production, fabrication quality, manpower coordination, safety compliance and inventory movement.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Factory Production Manager in supervising production team leaders and workers.
- Oversee fabrication work to ensure quality consistency and operational efficiency based on AutoCAD drawings and designs.
- Prepare weekly production plans and coordinate daily work schedules.
- Ensure workers follow workplace health and safety requirements, including weekly WSH safety meetings.
- Monitor daily work plans, PPE compliance, goods arrival and unloading activities.
- Check records of materials moving in and out of the factory to project sites.
- Ensure stock and inventory records are accurate and updated.
- Organise factory storage and support smooth movement of inventory and materials.
- Assist in sourcing cost-effective materials from overseas suppliers.
- Liaise with overseas suppliers on stock replenishment and material requirements.
- Support ISO documentation and related records.
- Assist with manpower planning and worker training to ensure workers are properly equipped for their duties.
- Review AutoCAD drawings and fabrication details to ensure fabrication work is carried out accurately.
- Support purchasing activities for overseas material sourcing where required.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in the construction, fabrication, factory production or related industry.
- Proficient in MS Office knowledge of MS Project and AutoCAD will be advantageous.
- Able to read AutoCAD drawings and understand fabrication requirements.
- Good knowledge of fabrication processes, production coordination and factory operations.
- Experience in inventory movement, material planning, supplier coordination or ISO documentation will be advantageous.
- Responsible team player who is able to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin will be advantageous to liaise with Mandarin-speaking overseas suppliers where required.
