Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Factory/Production Manager to lead our metal cutting operations. You will oversee daily production, machine maintenance, and factory upkeep to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output that meets customer delivery targets.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage daily and weekly production schedules with the Operator Supervisor.
- Ensure cutting processes meet quality and delivery targets.
- In-charged of machine repair, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of CNC machines.
- Manage factory upkeep, ensuring a clean, organised, and safe working environment that complies with WSH standards.
- Lead and train supervisor and operators to achieve high productivity and quality performance.
- Monitor and improve KPIs such as OEE, yield, scrap rate, and on-time delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction and efficiency initiatives.
- Prepare production and maintenance reports as per AS9100 Quality System.
- Assist the General Manager in all ad-hoc job.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years experience in metal cutting / fabrication / precision machining, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
- Strong technical knowledge of CNC cutting processes.
- Experience in machine troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.
- Good leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) and ISO 9001 standards.
Additional Information
- Factory-based role (metal cutting environment, not air-conditional), with air-conditioned office room
- 5 - 5½-day work week, may include occasional overtime or weekend maintenance.
