Order Fulfillment Specialist to support our manufacturing operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely order execution while driving process efficiency across the supply chain.
You will handle end-to-end order management, coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams, and identify areas for process improvement. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, comfortable with data and systems, and enjoys working in a structured, desk-based environment with opportunities to work both from home and in the office.
Key Job responsibilities and duties:
- Manage and execute customer orders accurately and efficiently - from order entry to on-time delivery commitment.
- Monitor and manage order backlogs, proactively communicating delays or issues and coordinating with internal stakeholders to resolve them.
- Liaise with third-party logistics providers and freight forwarders to ensure timely shipment, delivery, and proper documentation.
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies such as purchase order mismatches, shipping document errors, or damaged goods.
- Prepare and process shipping and import/export documentation in compliance with trade and logistics requirements.
- Act as the point of escalation for internal teams to resolve order fulfillment and shipment-related issues.
- Analyze order fulfillment processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to streamline operations and enhance accuracy.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that align with manufacturing and supply chain objectives.
Preferred Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in order fulfillment, supply chain, or business process roles within a manufacturing or operations environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data entry, documentation, and order management.
- Proven experience in process improvement and workflow optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage tasks independently in a desk-based, hybrid work setting.
- Customer- and process-oriented mindset - able to balance operational efficiency with service quality.
- Good understanding of supply chain and quote-to-cash processes, including logistics and trade compliance.
- Proficient in ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and comfortable using data tools to manage information flows.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Macros) and familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI) or automation tools (RPA) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
