Job Summary
Lead and manage building safety and maintenance programs, supervise contractors, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple sites to maintain safe, efficient facilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead safety programs including Gemba site walks, follow up on action items, and participate actively in Safety Committee meetings to enhance workplace safety culture
- Investigate and analyze reported breakdowns and faults to identify root causes and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence
- Conduct monthly inspections with cleaning contractors to ensure cleanliness standards, pest control, and landscaping meet established KPIs
- Initiate and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders for building and life safety systems to maintain operational readiness
- Address and resolve customer feedback related to building safety and maintenance using CMMS across all sites, including AMK Sites
- Supervise building office alteration and addition (A&A) works to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications
- Plan, organize, and supervise on-site contractors performing planned and ad-hoc maintenance on lifts, dumbwaiters, and fire protection systems to ensure safety and regulatory compliance
- Validate and prepare e-gate passes for waste disposal and collection of general waste, metal, and scrap materials to comply with environmental regulations
- Manage maintenance of building facilities including lifts, site and office maintenance, electrical systems, security systems (CCTV and card access), and AMCV to ensure continuous operational safety
Required competencies and certifications
- Fire Safety Manager certification
- Work At Height certification
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline
- 3 to 5 years supervisory experience in building, mechanical, and electrical system maintenance
- Working knowledge of Singapore regulatory and compliance requirements including BCA, SCDF, NEA, WSH, and familiarity with Fire Code
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong project management, supervisory, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, proactively, adapt to changing conditions, and perform well under pressure
