What The Day Will Look Like

  • Facility Administration
    • Administer facultative facilities from onboarding through renewal and mid-term changes.
    • Maintain facility guidelines, rating tools, aggregates, capacity trackers, and documentation.
    • Monitor utilization, flag capacity issues, and support facility performance reviews.
  • Placement & Technical Support
    • Prepare and check submissions, quotes, line slips, binders and endorsements for facultative placements.
    • Gather and validate risk data, ensuring it aligns with facility terms and underwriting criteria.
    • Liaise with reinsurers to obtain and confirm terms, resolve queries, and progress placements to bind.
  • Documentation, Data & MI
    • Ensure accurate and timely issuance of policy documentation, slips, endorsements, and bordereaux.
    • Maintain high-quality electronic records in broking and policy administration systems.
    • Produce facility MI (utilization, premium, loss and pipeline reports) and support audit/compliance needs.
  • Client & Market Service
    • Support brokers in responding to client and market queries on facultative placements and facilities.
    • Assist in preparing client summaries of cover, renewal packs, and placement reports.
  • Team Contribution
    • Provide guidance to junior support staff and share technical knowledge on facultative facilities.
    • Contribute to process improvements and standard operating procedures.
Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

  • Solid experience in (re)insurance broking support or operations, ideally in facultative reinsurance or specialty lines.
  • Understanding of facultative facilities / delegated arrangements and related documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and document quality.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working with brokers, clients, and reinsurers.
  • Proficient in Excel and core MS Office tools; experience with broking / policy admin systems preferred.
  • Progress toward professional insurance qualifications (e.g., CII or equivalent) is advantageous.
