Facility Executive

JOB DESCRIPTION

Plan, organize, and supervise maintenance works for essential facilities, including air-conditioning systems, pest control, lighting and electrical systems, fire protection systems, lifts, and the renewal of relevant licenses.

Source and coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure inspections, maintenance, and upkeep of buildings, equipment, and infrastructure systems comply with prevailing sector-specific government regulations.

Supervise, train, and evaluate staff performance in areas such as maintenance, transport, kitchen, reception, and laundry services.

Manage and coordinate facility maintenance-related projects.

Ensure all statutory licenses, permits, and maintenance contracts are renewed in a timely manner.

Ensure the cleanliness, safety, security, and overall well-being of the building are properly maintained in compliance with relevant government regulations.

Monitor and ensure vendors and contractors carry out work in accordance with safety standards and contract requirements, including evaluating contractor performance and reviewing contract specifications.

Manage weekly store and inventory issuance, including monitoring and maintaining proper stock records.

Attend relevant training courses (e.g., Environmental Control Coordinator) and obtain required certifications as mandated by government authorities or management.

Maintain accurate IT inventory records and collaborate closely with the outsourced IT service provider as a member of the Nursing Home Cybersecurity Committee.

Perform other administrative duties such as document and record control, as well as other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Professional Certificate in Facility Management or equivalent
• Certification in Fire Safety Manager would be an advantage
• Working experience in managing workplace facility
• Preferably with supervisory experience
• Able to supervise and work with matured colleagues
