Job Summary
We are hiring Facilities Technologists and Technicians to support critical manufacturing facilities. Successful candidates will be assigned to either the UPW and Wastewater Treatment team or the Facilities Tool Installation team, depending on their qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities
A. UPW & Wastewater Treatment
Operate, monitor and maintain Ultra-Pure Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant systems to ensure reliable performance within specified operating parameters.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to established SOPs, Risk Assessments and Permit-to-Work requirements.
Troubleshoot equipment failures, out-of-specification conditions and system interruptions to minimise downtime.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with operational, environmental and regulatory standards.
Identify system weaknesses and implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability and operational stability.
Apply Total Productive Maintenance principles to improve equipment efficiency and promote proactive maintenance practices.
Coordinate contractors and vendors for maintenance, repair and system improvement activities.
Support environmental sustainability initiatives involving energy reduction, water conservation and waste recycling.
Create and update maintenance work orders and monitor spare-parts inventory through the Facilities Management System.
B. Facilities Tool Installation
Coordinate contractors in carrying out equipment hookups for new tools, conversions, relocations and tool removal activities.
Ensure installation activities meet quality standards, project schedules and approved budgets.
Coordinate with equipment owners to facilitate the timely release and activation of utilities.
Monitor installation progress and provide timely updates on tool-release status, abnormalities and schedule risks.
Review engineering drawings and highlight discrepancies or installation concerns.
Troubleshoot tool-related utilities and cleanroom systems.
Perform utilities turn-on after installation activities are completed.
Conduct testing and balancing of exhaust systems for manufacturing equipment when required.
Measure and track equipment utility consumption and flow rates.
Conduct regular site walks to identify opportunities to improve safety, cleanliness, housekeeping and work
Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
UPW or wastewater treatment systems
Facilities utilities or plant maintenance
Manufacturing equipment installation
Wafer fabrication equipment
Semiconductor manufacturing or cleanroom experience is preferred.
Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
Good troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with technical data.
Good communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
Able to prioritise assignments and meet project schedules with minimal supervision.
Strong safety awareness, teamwork and commitment to continuous improvement.
