Responsibilities:
Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on automated equipment.
Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) equipment and control system.
Carry out repair works for plant equipment, machinery, and facilities.
Perform lighting replacement and maintenance tracking.
Ensure preventive maintenance activities are completed according to schedules assigned by the Manager.
Conduct routine inspections and servicing of mechanical and electrical installations, building facilities, air-conditioning units, plumbing and sanitary systems, and machinery.
Carry out minor building maintenance works, including floor demarcation, patching, and partition repairs.
Attend to user complaints and perform minor repair works when required.
Coordinate and assist external contractors during major repair and installation works.
Ensure work carried out by external contractors is completed according to requirements and within timelines.
Support building-related contractual services such as pest control, lift servicing, and landscaping.
Assist contractors in preventive maintenance of facility systems, including cooling towers, air compressors, and fire alarm systems.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in Engineering or Facilities Management.
ITE Higher Nitec / Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Basic computer literacy.
Good communication and coordination skills to liaise with internal teams and external vendors.
