About The Role
This position is responsible for the management of the client's critical environment infrastructure and practical delivery of best-in-class operational standards resulting in an excellent engineering service.
What You'll Do
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
- Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
- Manage incident and escalation, engineering problem solving, fault finding and root cause analysis for the region acting as the primary interface with the client, local vendor partner, and other stakeholders.
- Putting in place measure to maintain 100% uptime of the Critical Environment Equipment as part of the SLA / KPI.
- Daily operational M&E activities, including ACMV, Air Compressor system, UPS, CRAH, LV Panels, Alarm system, BMS system, Access card system, Fire Protection system, Water supply and drainage system, PA system and miscellaneous electrical appliances.
- Attending to technical-related interior works and faults, including Furniture, Carpets, Walls/fittings, Ceilings and Doors/Glass Doors.
- Assist and supervise vendors and contractor services in the premises relating to Corrective Maintenance and Planned Preventive Maintenance and vendor briefings.
- Assist in Power Shutdown activities.
- Coordinate appropriate action for rectification including preliminary analysis of fault.
- Respond to System Alarms and deal with emergency situations.
- Write daily report and incident reports and assist to analyze the root cause of incident.
- To perform good plant housekeeping and rectify building defects.
- Leverage on CMMS tool to ensure all maintenance activities are logged/scheduled, track, complete and close on time in accordance to the priority and criticality.
- Determine material, equipment, tools and spare parts to be used for maintenance jobs.
- Require 24/7 standby support in case of any emergencies. At times, it may be necessary to work beyond regular office hours.
What You'll Need
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
