Key Responsibility
- Monitor and operate critical facility systems, including HVAC, chilled water, compressed air, electrical distribution, boilers, gases, vacuum, and fire protection systems.
- Respond to alarms, faults, and equipment abnormalities in a timely manner.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting and coordinate escalation to maintenance, engineering, or external vendors when needed.
- Ensure safe and stable operation of utility systems to support site activities and production needs.
- Carry out shift handover with clear communication of equipment status, incidents, maintenance actions, and ongoing issues.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities, including equipment isolation, verification, and return-to-service checks.
- Follow site safety, environmental, and operational procedures, including permit-to-work and lockout/tagout requirements.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and operational records.
- Participate in emergency response activities (as Site Incident Controller) such as power loss, utility failure, leaks, or fire alarm events.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and EHS teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to reliability, energy efficiency, and operational performance.
- Respond to production feedback/ complaints with proper containment/ closure to system owners for follow up.
Job Requirements
- Degree or diploma in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, facilities engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of building and utility systems.
- Basic understanding of safety and permit-to-work procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
