We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Facilities / Project Engineer to join our team and support our Facilities Management operations. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience in building maintenance, and excellent coordination skills to ensure smooth and efficient operations across assigned properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) maintenance operations across multiple facilities.
- Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for M&E systems.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of works.
- Handle project management tasks for A&A works, upgrading, retrofitting, and renovation projects.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and safety checks to ensure compliance with SOPs, SLA, and regulatory standards.
- Provide technical support, prepare reports, quotations, project documentation, and performance analyses.
- Manage outsourced service providers for security, housekeeping, landscaping, and other facility-related services.
- Address operational issues, respond to incidents promptly, and ensure fast rectification within contractual KPIs.
- Monitor building systems such as ACMV, fire protection, plumbing, electrical, and civil works.
Requirements
- Diploma in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management, M&E supervision, or building operations.
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems, facility operations, safety protocols, and project coordination.
- Core Trade - Electrical Works certification (BCA) preferred.
- Possess multiple safety course certifications (e.g., Work-at-Height, BCSS).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in report writing, maintenance planning, and using facility management software.
- Ability to manage multiple sites and supervise teams effectively.
