Job Description & Requirements
- Support all the new construction/installation of production and office expansion project and actively involved in all the design work and specification before finalisation or design freeze.
- Work closely with Industrial Engineering and end users to define project intention and translate the intention into installed system to meet the its function and performance
- Coordinate for any new tools and utilities hook up or tools relocation activities
- Responsible for coordinating and supervising subcontractors works on site to ensure compliance to internal Safety guidelines and jobs specification
- Ensure timely completion, safety and quality standards of project works
- Prepare and update all site reports and closely monitor the progress of the project including submission of weekly report
- Liaise with contractors to define the scope of work, work methods, technical specifications of the services.
- Perform project cost estimation, participating in technical/engineering evaluation of all bidding packages with Purchasing
- After completion of project, responsible to ensure all payments are regularized, projects are buy-off according to procedures. Project closure documentation are obtained like O&M manual, as built drawings, T&C records, all regulatory certificate, Spare part listing and contractor/vendor listing
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Supervisor
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Project management skills
