Key Responsibility

  • Monitor and operate critical facility systems, including HVAC, chilled water, compressed air, electrical distribution, boilers, gases, vacuum, and fire protection systems.
  • Respond to alarms, faults, and equipment abnormalities in a timely manner.
  • Perform first-level troubleshooting and coordinate escalation to maintenance, engineering, or external vendors when needed.
  • Ensure safe and stable operation of utility systems to support site activities and production needs.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop Shift Operation Engineers across multiple shifts.
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities, including equipment isolation, verification, and return-to-service checks.
  • Follow site safety, environmental, and operational procedures, including permit-to-work and lockout/tagout requirements.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and operational records.
  • Participate in emergency response activities (as Site Incident Controller) such as power loss, utility failure, leaks, or fire alarm events.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and EHS teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to reliability, energy efficiency, and operational performance.
  • Respond to production feedback/ complaints with proper containment/ closure to system owners for follow up.
  • Support internal and external audits related to facilities operations, EHS, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and coordinate facilities improvement projects to enhance reliability, safety, efficiency, and capacity.

Job Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, facilities engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of building and utility systems.
  • Basic understanding of safety and permit-to-work procedures.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Ability to analyze trends, interpret alarms, and support RCA activities
  • Requires participation in shift coverage support as needed
  • Occasional overtime and call-out support may be required
