Job Summary
Join a well-established local M&E company as a Facilities Management Executive / Assistant Manager to lead maintenance teams, manage facilities operations, and deliver client-focused solutions ensuring smooth building and M&E system performance.
Responsibilities
- Execute tasks assigned by the Business Development Director to support business objectives
- Coordinate with client representatives to oversee defect rectification and track outstanding maintenance work by the in-house team
- Lead and supervise the in-house maintenance team to resolve daily facilities maintenance issues efficiently
- Ensure timely completion and satisfactory quality of all outstanding maintenance and repair works
- Manage emergency repairs, troubleshoot breakdowns, and provide technical support to maintain operational continuity
- Oversee smooth daily operations of all facilities management services to meet client expectations
- Handle customer service issues by addressing client feedback and complaints promptly and professionally
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings to resolve issues and foster collaboration
- Prepare and submit proposals for addition, alteration, improvement, repair, or replacement works for buildings and M&E systems as requested by clients
- Manage projects and improvement works from planning through execution to enhance facility performance
- Prepare justifications for work variations and verify and certify completion of all maintenance and repair works
- Ensure all facilities management activities comply with statutory and regulatory requirements
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum three years of relevant experience in a similar role managing properties of comparable scale and nature
- Background in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) engineering is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and lead confidently in meetings
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage and manage relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders
