Our client is seeking a hands-on Facilities Executive to support manufacturing, food production, and logistics facilities. This role is responsible for facility maintenance, M&E systems, preventive maintenance planning, food safety compliance, and contractor management across operational sites.
The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial, food manufacturing, or warehouse environments, and is comfortable handling production equipment, utilities, audits, and ISO-related compliance. Candidates with potential to grow into an Assistant Facilities Manager role are welcome.
Salary: SGD 3,800 - 4,500
Location: Jurong West
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8.30am - 5.30pm
Saturday: 8.30am - 12.30pm
Reporting to: Group Logistics & Operations Manager
Manufacturing, Food & Logistics Facilities Operations
Manage preventive and corrective maintenance for facilities, utilities, and production-related equipment (e.g. M&E systems, HVAC, compressors, electrical, plumbing).
Support operations in food processing areas, cold rooms, and warehouse/logistics facilities.
Investigate equipment breakdowns, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce downtime.
Coordinate pest control, cleaning, hygiene, and security services to meet food safety and operational requirements.
Ensure authority licence renewals, statutory inspections, and compliance with regulatory standards.
ISO, Food Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 22000, GHP, and food safety standards.
Support internal and external audits and assist with corrective action implementation.
Maintain proper documentation, records, and SOPs for facilities and maintenance activities.
Facilities Engineering & Technical Support
Provide technical guidance on facilities engineering, maintenance planning, and equipment improvement works.
Troubleshoot M&E and facilities-related technical issues and make timely operational decisions.
Identify resource, manpower, spare parts, and equipment requirements to support smooth operations.
Conduct basic technical training and on-site guidance for internal teams when required.
Contractor & Project Management
Supervise external contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure work quality, safety, and adherence to timelines.
Manage minor facilities projects, scheduling, prioritization, and coordination with operations teams.
Monitor maintenance costs, budgets, and service performance.
Management & Reporting
Establish, review, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and facilities guidelines.
Prepare monthly maintenance reports, breakdown analysis, and operational updates for management.
Support performance reviews and identify skills development opportunities for team members.
Maintain a safe, organised, and compliant working environment across all facilities.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 (Internal Auditor certification is an advantage).
Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) and Safe Food Handling certification preferred.
Willingness to undergo additional training as required.
Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related disciplines.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in food production, logistics, or warehouse facilities.
Strong exposure to preventive maintenance, facilities engineering, M&E systems, contractor management, and ISO compliance.
Experience supporting food manufacturing or ISO 22000 environments is highly advantageous.
Good problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
